Emily Trubey

Emily is a Senior Music Theatre major, and thrilled to be making her seventh appearence in a main stage production here at Plymouth State. Emily was most recently seen In PSU’s digital production of A Killer Party as Detective Justine Case. Past roles and works include The Addams Family as Grandma, Quilters as Jody, A concert version of West Side Story directed by Dr. Dan Perkins as Maria, and Carmen in Sweet Charity. Emily had the honor of making it to the National round this past spring in the NATS (National Music theatre) vocal competition, as well as recieved the first place title in the Seacoast Regional idol competition in 2018, and the First place winner of the Bedford Rotary Scholarship Idol competition in 2017. other favorite roles include Ella in Cinderella, Joanna in Sweeny Todd, Yonah in Children of Eden, Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, and the Elephants Child in Just so, where she won a NH theatre award for best actress in a Youth production in 2012. She would like to thank her friends and family for their enormous love and support as well as her directing team, faculty at psu and of course her wonderful cast for working so hard to create meaningful and enjoyable performance opportuities during these difficult times. She hopes that the audience enjoys the sweet and joyous messages that Charlie Brown has to offer and througoughly thanks you for being here and in person and for your support for the arts which is as important as ever now.
