Mason Randall (Dorian Grey) is a junior Theatre arts major with an option in Acting. He most recently was seen in Sweet Charity (Charlie). He is very delighted to be solving this mystery with all of you and getting some good food as well! He would like to thank his family and friends for supporting him through this process.
Rebecca Turmel is a Senior Communicaton major with an option in Media Studies, but she also minors in Theatre as well. Some of her past credits include Steel Magnolias (Annelle), A Chorus Line (Kristine), Cabaret (Lulu), Heathers: The Musical (Veronica), Aida (Aida), and The Addams Family (Wednesday). However, you may know her from a recent PSU production titled A Dream Play, where she spent most of her time pasting the cracks in the walls and the floor. She is so excited to be a part of an original show and is thankful to have such a wonderful cast & crew!
Matthew is a sophomore Theatre major with an option in acting and design. Past credits include the Wiz (the cowardly lion), West Side Story (Bernardo), and Into the Woods (The Narrator/Old Man). As this is his first production while at school, he is very grateful for this opportunity and excited for this production! He would like to thank Jessie, Shani and all the production staff for their hard work and his friends and family for all their support!
Sam Clifton (Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde) is looking forward to playing two well-known literary characters in this new work. His previous Plymouth State Theatre accolades include performances in A Dream Play (Prompter, etc.), Much Ado About Nothing (Don Pedro), and Oedipus the King (Shepherd).
Hello to all! Shani’s in her 4th year and will be graduating a semester early in December 2018. She’s a Communications major with a minor in theatre. She’s also an actor and a tech crew member with experience in costumes, lightning and set design. At only 6 years old she became an actor and then joined tech at 14. She’s been a stage manager before, but it’s her first time in college and has had the pleasure to do so for Dracula’s Decadent Dinner Party. She would love to thank her parents Norman and Kelly and her brother Kyle for being her rock!
Alicia is a Senior at Plymouth State University with an Interdisciplinary Contract titled Performing Arts Production. She has been working in various parts of the theatre for many years and dancing for even longer. Some of her recent theatrical highlights include Cats, Evita, Showboat, and Hairspray. She has been dancing for 18 years and has been seen in CDE several times through her time at PSU. She is also a choreographer and has been choreographing children’s theatre in 2 Manchester Schools and Interlakes Summer Program for 5 years. Alicia hopes to continue working in the theatre wherever she can.
Spencer Bernard-Kriegl (Conrade) is very excited to be originating the role of Renfield. Past performances at PSU include Much Ado About Nothing ,Ragtime in concert, and the Playwright’s Lab Rehearsed Readings Series, where his play Threesome was read. Past favorite roles include Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, and Robertson Ay in the Prescott Park production of Mary Poppins . Grace Fay Brooks (Sherlock Holmes) is a 20 year old junior double majoring in Psychology and Theatre Arts with an option in Acting, and a minor in Dance. She was recently seen in Sweet Charity (Baseball Player & Angry Elevator Woman), and Much Ado About Nothing (Sister Francis & Messenger). She is excited to be participating in her first improv/murder mystery experience and would like to thank her friends and her loved ones for coming to see her and always supporting her passion!
Samantha Leone (Gretel) is a Senior Theatre Arts major with an option in Music Theatre Performance and contract in Stage Management. She is so thrilled to be a part of this process and show with such a talented group. Past performances include Sweet Charity (Frenchie), Much Ado About Nothing (Ursula), Cowboys! The Musical (Toadsticker/Judge Mean Boss Lynch III), Carrie (Ensemble), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona ’14, Olive ’12), and Pippin (Berthe). She would like to thank her family for always supporting her in everything she does.
Matt Kizer has been the resident designer for Plymouth State since 1996. He has presented workshops on projections for performance nationally and internationally, including the National Opera Association in New York, and The Cyprus Theatre Organization in Nicosia. His work has been presented at the Kennedy Center in D.C., and with A-Fortiorni dance company in Germany. He designed for two years with Operafestival Di Roma in Italy with the Orchestra Sinfonica dell’ International Chamber Ensemble at Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza in central Rome. He has a B.A. from Purdue University, and an M.F.A. from The Ohio State University.
