Janaysia Gethers

 JANASYIA GETHERS (Rebecca Gibbs) is a freshman Theater Arts major with an option in Music Theatre Performance. Recent credits include Pippin (Leading Player), The Future is in Eggs (Mother Robert), Hair (Dione), Rocky Horror Picture Show (Riffraff), Heathers (Mrs. Flemming), Ragtime (Ensemble), and Anything Goes (Ensemble). She is looking forward for her future here at Plymouth State and is thrilled and honored to be a part of the Our Town cast.

SCOTT FOISY (Joe Stoddard) is thrilled to be cast in Our Town. Previous credits include Game Night (Jesse) and Much Ado About Nothing (Borachio). He is excited to be working on such New Hampshire classic play with many other eager folks in the cast , crew , designers and directors.

Robert Herstedt

Robert Herstedt (Howie Newsome) is a senior Theatre Arts major with an option in Music Theatre Performance. Recent credits include Mary Poppins (George Banks), Sweet Charity (Oscar Lindquist), Merrily We Roll Along (Jerome Kincaid), Cowboys (Blabby Gaze), Wedding Singer (Robbie Hart), and A Man of No Importance (Father Kenny). He also works for Skyrise Children’s Theatre where he works on carpentry, lighting, and directing. He would like to thank his family for supporting him as he follows his passion.

Asher Clark

ASHER CLARK (Doc Gibbs) is a Junior Acting major at Plymouth State University.  Previously at Plymouth State he has appeared in Merrily We Roll Along, Mary Poppins, Game Night, and Sweet Charity. Asher finds this show to be very interesting and challenging in a way that no show has been before. He hopes that the audience is pulled into the world of Grover’s Corners as he has been.

Shae Stafford

SHAE STAFFORD (Ensemble) is a sophomore musical theater major. They have previously been in Mary Poppins (Katie Nana). This is their second show at Plymouth State and they are very excited, they want to thank their parents for being as supportive as they are.

Grace Kudla

GRACE KUDLA (Stage Manager) is a sophomore Theatre Arts major with an option in design tech, focusing mainly on costumes, hair, and makeup.  She has worked on many Plymouth State productions over her two years here. Some past credits include wardrobe for Much Ado About Nothing, Sweet Charity, and A Christmas Carol, Assistant Stage Manager for Mary Poppins, and hair and makeup assistant for Dracula’s Decadent Dinner Party.  In addition to being involved in productions, Grace also works as a stitcher in the costume shop and as a receptionist in the Center for Student Sucess.  She would like to thank Tim and Paige for their tireless work, Becca for her endless help and support (I couldn’t have done it without you!),  her incredible cast for being so great through this entire process, and her amazing friends and family for always supporting her. She Grace hopes you enjoy the show! Break legs, everyone!

Jacob Tilton

JACOB TILTON (Professor Willard) is a Senior Acting Major. Past performances include A Christmas Carol (Fred), The Trial, Merrily We Roll Along (Tyler), Cowboys! (Alfred), and Sweet Charity. He’d like to thank his friends and family for all their support in his endeavors.

Andrew Hotham

ANDREW HOTHAM is a sophomore theatre arts major with an option in musical theatre performance! He will be playing the charismatic George Gibbs! He is very excited for the show and extremely proud of everyone in the cast and crew! He wishes everyone good luck and hopes everyone breaks a leg! Actually, break both the legs. All the legs. Every. Last. One.

Rose Chaffee

ROSE CHAFFEE (Narrator) is very excited for you to see Plymouth State University’s production of Our Town. This process has been incredibly challenging and exciting for them and they are very proud of everything this cast has accomplished. Rose has been in many other Plymouth State productions including Merrily We Roll Along and Sweet Charity! Rose is very happy that you are here and they hope you enjoy the show!

Christian Simpson

CHRISTIAN SIMPSON is a first year Theatre Arts Major with and option in Musical Theatre Performance. Christian is a member of University Chorale and Our Town is his first acting credit with Plymouth State. Christian is very thankful and excited for this opportunity to work with such a fantastic cast and crew and is hoping that this is the first of many roles at PSU.

Nicke Morris

Nicke is a senior Acting Major at Plymouth State.  Prior credits include Agnes (A Dream Play), Margaret (Much Ado about Nothing), and Charlotte (A Christmas Carol).  She would like to thank Tim and Paige for allowing her to step into one of her dream roles and tell Emily’s story.  She would also like to thank her friends and family for their support.  “Being able to graduate with Our Town being my last show here at Plymouth has been absolutely emotional and beautiful and I wouldn’t have it any other way.  Thank you for the good times.”

Caitlin Lindsay

Caitlin is a first year Theatre major with an option in Music Theatre Performance. This is her first show with Plymouth State University, and she is so excited to be a part of such an amazing cast! Caitlin is looking forward to her future here at Plymouth State, and she hopes to be able to have many more experiences like this one.

Carolyn Scalia

Carolyn is a first-year student acting major. This will be her debut performance at Plymouth State University. She has enjoyed theatre from a young age and has been in a variety of shows throughout her lifetime. She is looking forward to developing new skills and gaining more experience throughout her time here. Carolyn also enjoys dance, photography, and anything that allows her to be creative.

Nate Wild

Nate is a senior who is proud to be concluding his run at Plymouth State with Our Town. Preceding his role as Wally, Nate’s PSU roles have been Robertson Ay in Mary Poppins, Ensemble in Sweet Charity, and Balthasar in Much Ado About Nothing. Nate has also participated in 7 semesters of the University Chorale, and 3 years of Plymprov, PSU’s one and only improv troupe. Every experience here has been wonderfully remarkable, and it is with a heavy heart that Nate leaves PSU in May. Thank you to everybody who made these last 4 years extremely memorable!

Mikayla Caterino

Mikayla Caterino (Mrs. Soames) is beyond thrilled to be in her third production as a sophomore Theatre Arts major with an option in Music Theatre Performance. Some past credits include Sweet Charity (Ensemble), Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife), and Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins). She will also be performing with the University Chorale this spring in West Side Story in concert. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her pursuit of the arts. She would also like to thank the cast and crew for a truly incredible experience.

Sam Clifton

Sam Clifton (Constable Warren) is appearing in his final undergraduate production here with Plymouth State Theatre. Previous credits include Dracula’s Decadent Dinner Party (Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde), A Dream Play (Various), Much Ado About Nothing (Don Pedro), Oedipus the King (Shepherd), and Romeo and Juliet (Lord Montague). He is grateful to the department for such fulfilling experiences over the last four years and is looking forward to seeing what the future brings.

Matthew Kadam

Matthew is a sophomore Theatre major with an option in acting and design. After playing Dracula in Dracula’s Decadent Dinner Party this is his second show at PSU. Other past credits include the Wiz (the Cowardly Lion), West Side Story (Bernardo), and Into the Woods (The Narrator/Old Man). He would like to thank Tim, Paige, Grace, Becca, and all the production staff for their hard work and his friends and family for all their support!

Paige MacDonald

Paige MacDonald (Assistant Director) is a a senior Theatre Arts major, with options in Music Theatre Performance and Arts Administration. This is her assistant directing debut. Past performances include: Mary Poppins (Mrs.Banks,) The Little Mermaid (Allana,) A Dream Play (Various,) Merrily We Roll Along (U/S Beth, Meg). She wishes to thank Tim for the opportunity to collaborate and the cast for giving their hearts to this production.

Jeanmarie LaPointe

Jeanmarie LaPointe (Mrs. Gibbs) is thrilled to be taking the stage for her fifth production at Plymouth State. She is a junior Theatre Arts major with an option in Music Theatre Performance. She most recently was seen as “Maria” in Advice to the Player’s production of Twelfth Night. Other past Performance Credits: Mary Poppins (Miss Andrew), Sweet Charity (Suzanne), Hairspray (Brenda), Much Ado About Nothing (Watchman #2), Ragtime (Sob Sister), Cry Innocent (Bridget Bishop/All Women), and Pippin (Catherine). Jeanmarie is also the President of Plymouth State’s only improv troupe, Plymprov! She sends all her love to her friends and family!

Samantha Leone

Samantha Leone (Mrs. Webb) is a Senior Theatre Arts major with an option in Music Theatre Performance. She is so thrilled to be a part of this process and show with such a talented group. Past performances include Dracula’s Decedant Dinner Party (Gretel Süss), Sweet Charity (Frenchie), Much Ado About Nothing (Ursula), Cowboys! The Musical (Toadsticker/Judge Mean Boss Lynch III), Carrie (Ensemble), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona ’14, Olive ’12), and Pippin (Berthe). She would like to thank her family for always supporting her in everything she does.

Nick Cochran

NICK COCHRAN (Sam Craig) is a senior Theatre Arts major with an option in Costume Design and a minor in Acting. Past performances include Game Night, Sweet Charity and Merrily We Roll Along (Joe Josephson). His most recent project was designing the costumes for Dracula’s Decadent Dinner Party. This semester apart from being cast in this amazing production of Our Town, Nick is designing the costumes for Quilters!   

Matt Kizer

Matt Kizer has been the resident designer for Plymouth State since 1996. He has presented workshops on projections for performance nationally and internationally, including the National Opera Association in New York, and The Cyprus Theatre Organization in Nicosia.  His work has been presented at the Kennedy  Center in D.C., and with A-Fortiorni dance company in Germany.    He designed for two years with Operafestival Di Roma in Italy with the Orchestra Sinfonica dell’ International Chamber Ensemble at Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza in central Rome. He has a B.A. from Purdue University, and an M.F.A. from The Ohio State University.
