Samm Johnson is a Freshman Theatre Technology and Design Major. Previous roles include Pearl in SpongeBob The Musical (MCTP), Allana in The Little Mermaid and Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda The Musical (OLTC). Samm is ecstatic to working with such a magnificent group of people on this show, and would like to thank her fiancé for his continued support of her love for the arts.
Maddie Anna is a theatre arts major with a concentration in musical theatre from Skaneateles, New York. She has previously performed in the Syracuse Area Music Awards, the 2018 All-Eastern Honors Ensemble, Bronte at Northern Vermont University, Little Women (PSU), and Into The Woods (PSU). She is thrilled to join this fabulous cast, and would like to thank her friends, family, and professors as she completes her degree and performs in her very last PSU play.
Sierra Norko is a senior Theatre Arts student with a concentration in Acting. Her recent roles include Alex and Pea in PSU’s production of Midnite. Sierra is extremely grateful to be part of such a beautiful and powerful production with such a lovely group of humans. She hopes you enjoy the show and thanks you for your support!
Katie is a senior Spanish and Theatre major with an option in Acting. Previous roles include Midnite (Faye) and Into the Woods (Granny/Giantess/Milky White Head). She is currently employed as a carpenter in the PSU scene shop and has had a blast helping to prepare the set for Silent Sky along with her duties as Stage Manager. Katie is so happy to have had the opportunity to stage-manage for the very first time with this stellar group of people, and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Kaitlyn Hill is a sophomore studying Criminal justice and Theatre Arts. She is thrilled to be performing in her second production at Plymouth State, and to be working with such a stellar cast and crew to bring this story to life. Previous roles include Marmee in Little Women (WNEU), First Lord in All’s Well That Ends Well (ATTP), Dionysus in The Frogs (SCR), and Cinderella’s Mother/Sleeping Beauty/Milky White Rear in Into the Woods (PSU). Kaitlyn would like to thank her parents for all the support they have given her throughout the years. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Daneé Gosselin has been a member of the PSU design team since 2007. Favorite past PSU costume designs include Into The Woods (2022), The Addams Family (2019), Dracula (2014), The Pleasure Men (2013), Orpheus in the Underworld (2013), and Marat/Sade (2010). She was most recently the Scenic Designer for Urinetown (2023). Daneé also teaches classes relating to costume design, costume construction, and stage makeup. She would like to dedicate her work on Silent Sky to her departed friend Christine Holliday-Rowe. The heavens are brighter for your presence among the stars.
Matt Kizer has been the resident designer for Plymouth State since 1996. He has presented workshops on projections for performance nationally and internationally, including the National Opera Association in New York, and The Cyprus Theatre Organization in Nicosia. His work has been presented at the Kennedy Center in D.C., and with A-Fortiorni dance company in Germany. He designed for two years with Operafestival Di Roma in Italy with the Orchestra Sinfonica dell’ International Chamber Ensemble at Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza in central Rome. In 2019, his work was included on behalf of the United States at the The Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space both in exhibition and performance. He has a B.A. from Purdue University, and an M.F.A. from The Ohio State University.
