Justin McCarthy

Justin McCarthy, conductor, has been a member of the piano faculty at Plymouth State University since 2009, and currently serves as Coordinator of Collaborative Piano in the Department of Music, Theatre, & Dance.  Justin has given recitals in New York, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Ireland, and the Czech Republic.  His recent productions have included Into the Woods, The Addams Family, Mary Poppins, The Drowsy ChaperoneThe Wedding Singer, Urinetown, Jacques Brel, Sister Act, Little Women, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Once Upon a Mattress, and Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld
Recently, Justin has appeared in recital with violinist Elliott Markow, clarinetist Stephanie Ratte Jenkins, and sopranos Hannah Murray & Emily Jaworski.  Justin holds Bachelor & Master’s degrees from Rice University, and his Doctorate from Boston University. He is currently the Music Director & Organist at St. Elizabeth Seton Parish in Bedford, NH, and maintains an active teaching studio at the Manchester Community Music School.
