Audrey Solinas (Exeter/Salisbury/Richard) is a Theatre Arts Major at Plymouth State University with an option in Acting. Audrey made her stage debut at Plymouth State last fall, creating the character of Nickie for the episodic sci-fi series SilverStar Voyages. Her favorite part about working on Shakespeare’s War of the Roses is the fact that it is so different from any other show she has been a part of. That, and getting the opportunity to sword fight is pretty neat.
Sara-Ann Bailinson (Warwick/ Lady Grey (Queen Elizabeth)) is a second–year, Plymouth State University Theatre Arts Major with an option in Acting. She is very excited to be playing the role of Warwick and Lady Grey/Queen Elizabeth. In her free time, when she isn’t engaged in activities related to theatre, she loves drawing and painting as well as doing special effects makeup. She wants to thank her friends and family for always being there for her, as well as the rest of the cast and crew for working so hard to put this show together! She hopes you have a great day, night, or whenever!
Leanne Burgess (Voice of Sommerset/Voice of Sir John Stanley) is a senior Theatre Arts Major with an option in Acting. She is also on the cross country and track and field teams. She’s thrilled to be in Shakespeare’s War of the Roses. In her free time, she likes to watch Disney movies and eat pizza. She is very excited to be in her first Shakespeare production. Last fall, Leanne served as one of the assistant stage managers on PSU’s episodic sci-fi series SilverStar Voyages.
Anna Skala (Physicality of Sommerset/ Physicality of Sir John Stanley) is a Theatre Major with options in Musical Theatre Performance and Design and Technology. Originally from Illinois , Anna wears many different hats. In addition to her training in dance, acting, & vocal performance, she is the assistant lighting designer for this show, created visuals for the recent series SilverStar Voyages, has stage managed, edits video, and tirelessly supports anything that comes up, whether it be based in performance, design, or technology.
Lindsey Brunelle (Charles/King Lewis/Lady Anne) is a sophomore Theatre Arts Major at Plymouth State University with an option in Music Theatre Performance and a minor in Standardized Patient Training. She’s very excited to be performing in her first Shakespearean production! Lindsey was most recently seen as Europa Inga in SilverStar Voyages and Sister Mary Patrick in Sister Act, and will be seen later this spring as an ensemble member in the musical A Killer Party. She is very thankful for the opportunity to perform during these difficult times and appreciates the hard work and effort that of every member of the department in ensuring this production becomes a reality. Lindsey hopes that you enjoy the show, and with any luck, she will see you in the theater soon.
Kyle Sidders (Earl of Suffolk/ Lord Hastings) is a sophomore Theatre Arts Major at Plymouth State University with an option in Music Theatre Performance and a minor in Standardized Patient Training. He has performed musical theatre shows his whole life; however, this is his first–time doing Shakespeare and only his second–time performing in a play. He has enjoyed getting to play multiple characters and discovering their unique qualities. Kyle is thankful to be performing in the midst of COVID and hopes the show creates an engaging, dramatic distraction from the craziness of the world.
Emma Littig (Joan of Arc/ Prince Edward/ Lord Stanley) is a junior studying Theatre Arts at Plymouth State University. Emma’s previous credits include The Addams Family (Newsie Ancestor) at PSU and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Fairy) and Cozí Fan Tutte (Supernumerary) at Yale Opera. Emma is also a background artist and has appeared in Mr. Robot, The Deuce, City on a Hill, High Fidelity, The Hunt, Manifest, Listen, Ivan, Master and Growing Down. She has walked in the Mothers Ball fashion show at the Jacob Javits center wearing the Vivian by Emilia George’s Maternity line with Totally Fringe and Snake nursing bag by Laura Faye’s Mommy and Me Collection.
Garrison Barron (Gloucester/Clifford Sr./Clarence) is a junior at Plymouth State University majoring in Theatre Arts and minoring in Standardized Patient Training. This is Garrison’s fifth production at Plymouth State, and he is delighted to get a chance to work such a collaborative theatre piece as Shakespeare’s War of the Roses.
Andrew Hotham (King Henry VI) is a senior Plymouth State University Theatre Arts Major with an option in Music Theatre Performance. He is very excited to be part of this show and extremely proud of everyone in the cast and crew! He hopes that you enjoy the production, and that everyone breaks a leg! Actually, break both the legs. All the legs. Every. Last. One.
Aleksei or “Lexi” Ellis (John Talbot/Lord Clifford/Lady Bona/James Tyrell/Cardinal Winchester) is a junior Theatre Arts Major with an option in Acting and a minor in Standardized Patient Training. Previously, she was a part of the student–written episodic sci-fi series SilverStar Voyages. Along with cowriting the second episode of the series, Lexi created the show’s premise and played De La Rosa Nutricion. She’s excited to be back on the Hanaway stage!
Mikayla Caterino (Reignier/Duchess/Edward/Oxford), a senior with options in Music Theatre Performance and Directing, is extremely excited to be in her first Shakespearean production. Some past credits include Mary Poppins in the musical Mary Poppins, Katherine in An Enemy of the People, and Morticia in The Addams Family Musical. She recently took a break from performing and directed two episodes for Plymouth State University’s original sci-fi series Silverstar Voyages. She is excited to get back on stage and would like to thank the cast, crew, and faculty for finding a way for students to perform again.
Amanda Lattanzi (Talbot/Margaret) is a senior Theatre Arts Major with an option in Music Theatre Performance and a minor in Standardized Patient Training. Previous roles at Plymouth State University include Lisa in Quilters, Elaine in Sweet Charity, and the ensembles of The Addams Family and Mary Poppins. Amanda is in PSU’s all-women a cappella group Mixed Emotions as well as the university’s select improvisational comedy troupe Plymprov. This is her first Shakespearean production, and she couldn’t be more excited to bring Shakespeare’s clever insults and curses to life. She gives a special thanks to her friends, family, and the Music, Theatre and Dance faculty at Plymouth State University.
Izzy Stafford (Richard III) is a senior Theatre Arts Major with an option in Acting. She is glad to be spending her last semester at Plymouth State University playing in Shakespeare’s War of Roses. Most recently, she co-wrote and directed the fourth episode of PSU’s sci-fi series SilverStar Voyages. She can’t wait to see what new journey acting takes her on next!
Sierra Norko (Bedford/Lucy/ Buckingham/Vaux) is currently a second year Theatre Arts Major with an option in Acting at Plymouth State University. She is extremely delighted to take part in this production of Shakespeare’s War of the Roses. Sierra is very excited to take on the challenge of playing characters unlike herself, including those of the opposite sex, as well as those who are much older than she is. In the past, she has worked on Shakespearean pieces with St. Johnsbury Academy, including playing the role of Lady Capulet in St. Johnsbury’s production of Romeo and Juliet. Also, at St. Johnsbury Academy, she’s performed various Ophelia monologues from Hamlet. Later this semester, Sierra will be featured in PSU’s devised production entitled Rights and Riots.
Abigail Belanger (Duke of York/Duchess of York) is a fifth–year Theatre Arts Major with an option in Acting. At PSU, she has previously been seen as Miranda in the new play Game Night and Boy in Much Ado About Nothing. She is very excited to return to the stage, especially at a time when the arts are needed most.

A Killer Party

When Varthur McArthur, the artistic director of a failing theater in Duluth, invites his troupe of disgruntled actors and collaborators to the first read of an “immersive murder mystery dinner party,” no one knew that he would be the victim. Or did they? Enter eager, determined, and untested Detective Justine Case. After sequestering the guests into separate rooms (because, you know, social-distancing), she gets down to finding out whodunnit, uncovering secret affairs, life-long grudges, backstage drama, and a lot of musical theater song and dance. Sifting through lies and red herrings and a truly baffling murder mystery script left by the deceased, Case vows to find the truth and secure her future as a great detective.
