Responsibilities:
- Research topics pertinent to the world of the play including but not limited to:
- Language based (translation related)
- If a script is translated into English from other languages, looking at different translations could provide insight
- Time periods
- Historical events
- Cultural specifics
- Language based (translation related)
- Prepare educational materials for the cast, student groups, the audience
- Possibly create lobby or interactive displays in connection with the show
- Possibly prepare presentations or experiences related to your research
- Receive research assignments from anyone on the creative team
- You may be tasked at looking into a song, a clothing style, architecture, anything to help understand the world of the show
Anything Else: All researched information needs to be properly documented in MLA format.
