Suggested Pre-requirements: Intro to Design
Credits: 2 (1 if Dance Project) Practicum Type: Advanced (letter grade)
Report To: Department Technical Director
Location: N/A
Time Commitment: Start of design process (beginning of semester, sometimes a month before) through final dress, all production meetings
Responsibilities:
- Working with the director and other designers to ensure a cohesive vision
- Turning in a Design Package:
- Vectorworks file
- A ground plan of projection locations with elevations and the surfaces that they will be projected on
- Vectorworks file
- Expected to attend:
- All production meetings
- Crew Watch
- Tech and Dress rehearsals
Anything Else: This is not a position that needs to be filled for every show, as not every show has projections.
