Location: Scene Shop
Time Commitment: 40 hours over the course of the semester
Responsibilities:
- Work 4-6 hours per week in the Scene Shop
- Please schedule these hours with the Heather and/or Tyler within the first week of accepting the practicum assignment*
- Work with the Department Technical Director and Scene Shop employees to produce scenery for all shows in the assigned semester
- Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Set construction
- Lighting audio projections systems
- Theatre maintenance
Anything Else: *The Scene Shop will not schedule anyone for any time less than an hour and a half per block. Less than that is not enough time to set a project up and make progress before having to leave.
Doing a 40-hour practicum is a good step towards getting hired in the shop, if you so desire!
