Gayle Greene Watkins Script Library Now Open

Last Friday, April 10th, 2026, the 3rd floor office in The Silver Center for the Arts opened the Gayle Greene Watkins Script Library. The library contains 400+ plays, 30 musicals, along with a handful of monologue books and screenplays. Program Support Assistant, Lauren Christopher held an opening ceremony at 1:00pm, and Plymouth State Theatre students were able to be the first to check out scripts from its catalog.

Plymouth State students and staff alike can check out plays from the library by visiting the office and speaking with a student worker. For spring 2026, student workers are in on Mondays and Wednesdays 9am-2pm and Fridays 12:30-2:30. If no student office worker is present, connect with SILA Administrative Specialist, Jett Wisniewski, to find a time to check out a script/resource.
