Dance Project Cabaret

Directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse in 1972, the film adaptation of the musical “Cabaret” showcased his genius, and signature classical jazz style of dance. The show takes place in 1931 Berlin, as the Nazis began their rise to power. In a world filled with fear and uncertainty, the theatre was a sanctuary from the horrors of real life.
Nearly 100 years later, under a similar cloud of fear and uncertainty, we revisit the refuge of the theatre, interweaving Fosse’s signature style throughout our pieces. Forget your worries and your strife, and allow yourself to get swept up in the magic and wonder of our cabaret performance.
