Nate LaPorte

Nate LaPorte is a Sophomore Musical Theatre Performance Major. This is Nate’s second show at PSU and it’s been such an excellent experience with such an interesting show. Nate’s been acting for upwards of 7 years now, some of his favorite past roles include Herb in PSU’s Godspell, Professor Plum in Clue, and Laurie Laurence in Little Women. This show was such a fun challenge and amazing to see it all come together. Nate wants to thank his friends and family, especially his mom who has shown him infinite support throughout his career. James Kelleher

James is a first year undeclared student. He has been performing in theatre shows for a year and a half. Previous appearances include Clue (Mr Boddy), Anastasia (Tsar Nicholas), and Addams Family (Uncle Fester). He would like to thank his family and friends for continuing to support him throughout his acting career. He would also like to thank the cast and crew of Secret in the Wings for welcoming him in and showing him kindness and respect. He hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Riley Scanlon

Riley is a first year theater major with an acting focus. They are very exited to perform in their first PSU show! They previously performed in The Lightning Thief (Grover) and in 8 Minutes Left (The Observer). Thank you to all of their friends and family for supporting them!!

Andrew Le

Andrew Le is a first year Interdisciplinary Studies major focused on philosophy and international relations who is thrilled to be in his first production at Plymouth State. Past roles include Theseus (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and Chip Tolentino (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). He wishes to thank his friends and family for their endless support.

Lauren Christopher

Lauren (She/They) is a Sophomore Theater Contract Major with a Music Minor. She is happy to be back in the studio theater for her second production here at PSU. Some of her favorite recent roles have been Godspell (By My Side Soloist), Addams Family (Pugsley), and Title of Show (Heidi). She would like to thank her family and friends for their continued support and hopes you enjoy The Secret in the Wings!

Luke Gold

Luke (They/Them) is a Sophomore Theatre major with a focus in Directing. This is Luke’s First show at Plymouth State! Previous works they have directed are shows including Seussical the Musical, and Holes. They are delighted to have the chance to Assistant Direct and hope everyone enjoys the show!

Calle Marion Bisaillon

Calle (she/they) is a Senior with a major in Theatre Performance – Acting and Theatrical Design, with a minor in Film Studies. She is melancholically excited for her final role at PSU, but couldn’t be happier to do it within these twisted tales! Her past roles include ensemble work in both The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and Eurydice, Twelfth Night (Viola), and The War of the Worlds: the Panic Broadcast (Orson Welles). She would like to thank her friends and family for all the support throughout her Plymouth journey!

Jacob Heburn

A sophomore Musical Theater major who is so excited to be on stage here at Plymouth State bringing you the secret in the wings! Jacob began acting in 2017 and fell in love with the stage immediately. Past acknowledgments include Officer Barrel in PSU’s Urinetown, Wally in Weathervane’s Our Town, and the Birds in PSU’s Into the Woods. He would like to thank his mother who introduced him to theater. He is so excited for you to be of this amazing cast of fairytale folk. Enjoy the secret in the wings!

Daniel Sleeper

Daniel Sleeper is a Sophomore Creative Storytelling major at Plymouth State. Some of his most recent and favorite roles include Orsino and Toby in Twelfth Night, Dan Seymour and Carl Phillips in The War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast, Prince Ferdinand in The Tempest, and Bobby Strong in Urinetown. He would like to thank his family, including friends, for all of the love and support they’ve given throughout his life. Beck Leininger

Beck Leininger is a sophomore Theatrical Tech and Design major with a focus in stage management. Previous work in stage management and tech includes Godspell (ASM), Urinetown! (ASM), and Into the Woods (Run Crew). They currently are employed at the Silver Center for the Arts’ scene shop as a theatre technician and carpenter. Most importantly, they would like to thank their family for their continued support over the years. As well, they’d like to thank their best friend Cam, their roommates Abby and Taylor, and their parents for continually supporting their theatre journey.

Blake Ellis (They/Them)

Blake Ellis is a Senior Technical Theater Major, with an art minor and a focus on stage management. They have recently stage-managed You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (2021) and Into the Woods (2022) both at PSU as well as An Illiad (2023) with Advice To The Players. They are looking forward to this production and all its various challenges as they finish out their senior year!

Abby Evans

Abby is a sophomore Theatre Technology and Design student, and is very excited to be assistant costume designer for Secret in the Wings! At PSU Abby has previously worked on Into the Woods, Midnite, Urinetown, Silent Sky, and Godspell. She works in both the costume and scene shops. She would like to thank her friends and family for all of their support to help get her here. Enjoy the show!

Sadie Covill

Sadie is a junior majoring in Theatre Arts with a focus in Tech & Design. Previous experience at PSU includes stage managing the student written show Entangled, assistant stage managing the world premiere of Midnite, being both props master and stage manager for Silent Sky, and most recently stage managing War of the Worlds. Sadie is excited to be a part of this production and thanks friends and family for all the support!

Nicholas Bailey

Nicholas Bailey is a Junior with a major in Theatre Performance and a minor in Standardized Patient Skills. He’s so excited to share the stage with the cast and crew of The Secret in the Wings! Past roles of his include: Midnite (Bone) and ensemble work in Entangled and The War of the Worlds. He’s so excited for the audience to witness these beautiful and twisted stories. Matt Kizer

Matt Kizer has been the resident designer for Plymouth State since 1996. He has presented workshops on projections for performance nationally and internationally, including the Prague Quadrennial, the National Opera Association in New York, and The Cyprus Theatre Organization in Nicosia.  His work has been presented at the Kennedy  Center in D.C., and with A-Fortiorni dance company in Germany.    He designed for two years with Operafestival Di Roma in Italy with the Orchestra Sinfonica dell’ International Chamber Ensemble at Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza in central Rome.  His projection media and virtual education tools for theatre are used by institutions around the world.  In 2019, his work was included on behalf of the United States at the The Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space both in exhibition and performance.  He has a B.A. from Purdue University, and an M.F.A. from The Ohio State University.
